Fairfax, VA — November 2025
ACI Health is proud to announce that we have been awarded a new Job Corps contract, expanding our impact in workforce development and community empowerment across the United States. This achievement is a testament to our team’s dedication to building stronger futures for young people and their families nationwide.

The History of Job Corps

Job Corps has been transforming lives since 1964, when it was launched as part of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s War on Poverty and Great Society initiatives. For more than sixty years, Job Corps has grown into the nation’s largest free residential career training program for disadvantaged youth ages 16–24.

Since its founding, Job Corps has helped over 2 million young people gain the tools they need to thrive in the workforce and in life. The program now spans 119 centers nationwide, welcoming over 60,000 new students each year. Young adults can choose from more than 100 career pathways—including healthcare, technology, construction, business, culinary arts, and mechanics—while also receiving academic instruction, counseling, healthcare, and personalized transitional support.
